Lighten Up Initiative and Alden Electrical
Harborough District Council and Local Neighborhood Police have recently joined forces in a pilot initiative to ‘Lighten Up Harborough’ to increase confidence for the security of your home.
‘Lighten Up’ is offered to victims of house burglary, distraction burglary , door step crime, vehicle crime and any crime where a victim is likely to be vulnerable and lighting is a factor.
Alden Electrical Ltd are the Electrical Contractors who are fitting the low energy dusk to dawn lights (supplied by Police). A contribution of £30 is asked of the householder with the balance being paid for by the Community Safety Team.
Alden Electrical have decided to offer replacement security lighting to all householders in an attempt to make Market Harborough an even safer place to live.
